  1. Yep, you're prego!  I had 2 come back like this.  I knew it meant positive, but my b/f still wasn't convinced so I got a digital & that finally got it through his head!

  2. Yes, a pregnancy test has to detect hCG to be positive at all. It just means that you're not that far along. Congrats! :D

  3. If the line had color to it, it was a positive!  If you read the instructions that came with the box, it will tell you that even if the color is not the same, if there is a line there at all it indicates pregnancy.  Congratulations!

Now if you are seeing a shimmer where a line would be, that is not colored, it could be an evaporation line (wet).  This is more difficult to distinguish amongst the blue dye tests because the faint positives look silvery just like an evaporation line.  The pink dye tests are much easier.

If you have questions, test again but more than likely you are pregnant!

The test works in a way that where the line would be if pregnant, there is a chemical.  If HCG (the pregnancy hormone) is not present, then it repels the dye.  If HCG is present, the chemical causes the dye to stick.  If the HCG hormone is low (often the case in early pregnancy) the result will be light.

    Congratulations, again!
