I really like the way it looks but it doesn't look like I usually do, redhead and curly. I used temporay stuff that will come out in about a month of washing but I think I'd like to keep my hair this way for awhile. Should I keep my hair this way or go natural for my wedding?

  1. If you like it, than keep it. Its YOUR day!

  2. I think natural would be better cause thats the real you.Even though staight black hair looks very s**y.You need to make that  call.

  3. I think you should ask your fiance this question.  Do the look he prefers for the wedding.

  4. dyeing hair is like a trend dont look back and say what was i thinking, maybe have your hair done inbetween your wedding and h/m or on your honeymoon to look this way

  5. go for natural.  you want people to recognize you.  you want to look back at your pics and recognize your self.  red and curly is beautiful go that way

  6. For your wedding i would say go natural.

You want to be able to remember getting married as yourself meaning your natural hair colour.

Plus black is usually a harsh colour on people who are originally red heads.

Have a wonderful Wedding day =]

  7. The day before my mom got married, she cut her waist length locks off to her chin. She looked different, but beautiful. She got nothing but compliments.

Do what makes YOU happy. If it looks good, I say wear it that way.

  8. What to do is up to you, but few women (esp white women) can pull of black hair well, without looking like a corpse. Not knowing what you look like, I am not trying to insult you as some women are gorgeous with black hair.

Your hair color is up to you...wear it pink if you want, it doesn't matter. We don't know what you look like so cannot give you any decent opinion on which we feel looks better on you.

  9. The color you want your hair to be is your decision, I'm sure it will look fine either way, but just some advice..When I was a bit younger, I used to dye my hair all kinds of different colors. Permanent black dye is unlike all of the others. This stuff does NOT come out. It fries your hair and makes it extremely course and frizzy. The ONLY way I could get it out a year later was to strip all of my hair completely. It then turned orange, and then eventually faded back black anyway! I had to just let it grow out. It has been YEARS and I still have some black towards the bottom. I would STRONGLY STRONGLY advise against permanent black dye, if you really want it black, stick with the temporary.

  10. See how you like it after a few weeks. You might find that you love it and want to keep your hair that way. If you wear your hair that way from now until the wedding then everyone will have had a chance to get used to it and you will just look like you - not someone you dyed their hair black a week before the wedding.

Do you have any pictures of you trying on wedding dresses with your red hair? Maybe you could go back and try the dresses on with your black hair and take pictures - then you could see which one you are more comfortable with.

I personally feel that if you are comfortable with the style then that is all that matters. Everyone kept telling me to do something different with my hair for the wedding since I always wear it down. I tried doing something different for my trial and hated it. In the end I had my hair down in loose curls - it was me and I felt comfortable in it. As long as you look in the mirror and see a beautiful bride then that is all that matters.

  11. My mother is a cosmetologist.  I have seen a lot of hair styles for women getting married.  This is only a suggestion but for my own wedding I looked everywhere for the perfect hairdo and in the end all I came up with was the usual up dos that my mother had done in the past.  So I would enjoy the change for now but for the wedding stick to what you know.  That way when you look back 30yrs from now you can like what you are looking at instead of looking at your wedding photos asking what was I thinking with that hair.
