  1. It's part of the game. Yahoo is trying to encourage you to answer more questions. Make sure you pick best answer because you'll get 3 points back.  :)

  2. yeah, that's strange, nothing is gained by not asking in the real world; a question should be rewarded, there is nothing more important than the search for knowledge. it's how we learn and develop our intellects, but that's seems to be lost in this system...

  3. It's just a rule of the game,dear.

When you then choose a best answer, you get back 3 of those points,so in effect you're only losing 2:)

  4. coz thats how much it costs, everything in life has its price, and questions are 5 points, but keep answering and each time you get 2 points unless yours gets picked as a best answer.

  5. cuz thats the way it is my dear,  but choose a best answer and you will get 3 points back so its not all that bad

  6. Sunshine as the best answer it is exactly what I would have said as well

  7. That is the cost of a question. When you answer one you get 2 points back. When you award a best answer to your question, you get points too. Giving your knowledge is encouraged and points are awarded. Have fun.
