  2. I believe it varies quite a bit and not every company is going to reveal what goes into it's bottles..

    Here are a few that I am aware of:

    Compass Box Peat Monster uses 3 but other Compass Box vattings use quite a few more. .

    There are 2 or 3 vattings that use scotch from each of the Islay distilleries (6).

    Johnnie Walker Green uses dozens (their number)

    Chivas had a "Century of Malts" vatting that used 100 malts, although it's now out of production.

    Serendipity used 2

    Poit Dubh uses as many as 8, but is mostly Talisker
