  1. I have been to Kings Island 9 times this year and CP 3 times.

I usually walk right on to Vortex and Racer, or wait around 5 minutes. On really hot days, everyone heads for the water park so the lines for rides and coasters really aren't that bad.

Lines for Flight of Fear and Beast seem to be getting shorter.

Backlot Stunt Coaster seems to be almost half an hour wait the last few times I went.

Delirium and Drop Tower's lines are usually long, but they move fast because Delirium seats 50 people and Drop Tower seats 40.

Firehawk's line is always long, at least 45 minutes to an hour wait.

Invertigo's line is long and usually moves pretty slowly. Son of Beast's line is ridiculous, it's always at least over an hour or close to an hour and a half.

The ride lines at KI are nowhere near what they are at CP.

Wednesday it will be 87 and Thursday it will be 86 in Mason, so I can guarantee you that most people are going to hit the water park, I've noticed that the last few times I went to KI when it was really hot. You shouldn't have a problem with most of the ride lines unless you plan on riding Invertigo, SOB, or Firehawk.. expect a long line with those.

If the line for Firehawk is very long and you still want to ride, BRING SOMETHING COLD TO DRINK WITH YOU while you wait in line! The queue is directly in the sun, you will boil. I learned this from experience the hard way.

  2. The crowds will be less if you go on these days, but the crowds have seemed to stay pretty decent this year, but not as crowded as Cedar Point.
