On average how much commision does a recruitment consultant earn?

Ive looked and the basic salery ranges from 17000 to 25000 but commision ote is a mindfield some promise 25000/30000 potential. Does anyone know if this is true or bull??

It varies, for a big company like matchtech, you can earn up to £100k on good commission but for a small company like spectrum it (http://www.spectrumit.co.uk/) you earn around 35K a year OTE.
