Question:

On buses and some delivery trucks where is hte engine?

On every car i can see an engine in the front of the car. Also, on SCHOOL buses. but i can seem to see and on public transportation buses and on some delivery trucks. if its not on the front then where is the engine?

  1. On a big tour bus the engine is at the rear. Just listen to one when you go past it, see a screen or vent at rear on side, that is the side of the engine. Some delivery trucks the engine is under part of the floor board, setting way back from the front of the truck. You haven't seen a MR2 Spyder made by Toyota. The car is called a mid-engine car, its right behind the seats. Also, Pontiac made one, called the Fiero. So did the older Volkswagen bugs. God Bless. Hopes this helps. All of those cars have engines in the back or middle of the car. Even some older model family vans have the engine under the floorboard, way back from the front.


  2. yeah like the big grey hound buses the motor is in the back like a vw. and the delivery trucks with the fronts are completly flat with nothing but a big windshield the motor is underneath the drive. I drive a schwans truck and thats what I drive the whole cab lifts forward like hinges at the bumper to get to the motor
