  1. shes had botox

  2. no idea. personally i think id make a much better stamp than her. i mean, what does she do anyway? sit on a big royal chair and bark orders all day?

  3. Since the introduction of the postage stamp in  Great Britain, the portrait of each  monarch has seldom changed. I know that this is only the second portrait of the Queen to be used in Her 55 years on the Throne.  I was unaware that George V had 2 portraits (see comment from a Stamp Collector below). I do however remember reading that the present portrait of the Queen will remain until the end of Her reign.

    Vivat Elizabetha Regina.

  4. because the money was updated more recently

  5. Would you want to l**k the back of an 81 year old?

  6. Raymo is incorrect - portraits on stamps are updated. George V had two different images over 25 years.

The picture on the stamps is now outdated (as is the cameo of her on other stamps), but the definitive designed by Arnold Machin is extremely popular with stamp collectors and considered a great symbol of Britain. This year a book and special stamps set were issued to mark its 40th anniversary. It seems likely that the Machin portrait will remain in use for however long is left of her reign, though it no longer gives an accurate depiction of her current appearance.

  7. cos shes even less attractive now!! god save the queen and all that

  8. One word: Vanity.

  9. It's because you are going to l**k her back, so better that she is younger!

    haha

Edit: ha someone said it before, grilled!
