  1. you didnt get stung...you didnt appeal to Paypal...they are (usually) pretty good at resolving that sort of problem...Paypal is the fastest way to pay on ebay

  2. When you click to pay and go through paypal it is sent straight away - you can't get any quicker than that. Just make sure that the seller accepts paypal (to find out it will be on the page of the item you are buying and if unsure contact them). You don't need a credit card - you can use other cards and as you have a paypal account which you used before it is clearly all set up ok. If they ask you to pay in a different way after you paid (and don't send the money back) it is probably a scam

  3. I never had any problems with Paypal. If they were unable to pay over the money they would have contacted you by email to tell you so, and you would have  a credit on your account. It's the quickest and safest way. If you have been debited by paypal and have not been paid back, contact them. Could be your seller has received the money after all and now is scamming you for more.

  4. You can call paypal by phone and settle your first issue.

Contact the seller of the item you want to purchase and ask if you can send a check or money order.  You could overnight mail a payment but that would be costly.

  5. Paypal has tight security these days and usually ask for both a bank account and credit card. To satisfy both, if you have a visa debit card this can be used as it is both a bank and credit card. Paypal is okay but there isn't as much protection for buyers and sellers as they advertise. I think I have lost about £1,000 in the years that I've used it through fraud and not being protected. There are three ways to pay. 1. Paypal with credit card. 2. Paypal from bank account. 3. Paypal balance. The safest way is 1 because you get some paypal protection and credit card protection. Worst way is paypal balance, because paypal can freeze your account anytime and just keep your money frozen for 2 or 3 months (my own bad experience).

  6. You should appeal to Paypal about it - and never give a second payment until you've recieved your first payment back.  I think paypal is the fastest payment but you could do a bank transfer but they'd have to give you their sort code and account number.
