On ebay, If I make my feedback profile private can I change it back to public at a later date?

Yes but private feedback is very offputting to buyers, it looks like you have something to hide. I wouldn't do it or buy from someone with it.

Yes, you can change it back whenever you like.

The big problem with making it private is that if you're a seller, you'll no longer be able to sell on that id (unless you make the feedback public again).

You can but be aware that while your feedback is private you cannot sell items.  If you are a buyer I highly recommend against going private with the new feedback rules.  You'll likely find yourself blocked from most auctions due to paranoia.
