On ebay, what is feedback for? And how do you it?

When you buy something on EBay you have a chance to leave a rating and a comment for future customers of the seller.  You can leave positive, neutral or negative, and anyone looking up this seller can see the percentages he got of all three of those ratings.  And you can leave a one-line comment.  Sellers also can leave feedback for buyers.

After you've received the item, go to 'My Ebay'.  It will show the auctions you've 'won' for which you haven't yet posted feedback.  You can get to the seller's feedback from here.  Leaving feedback is optional, though, not required.

It is a way to show that you and the other party did good on the transaction. you go to my ebay and then you to to the feedback option on the left of your screen under my account, then it will appear all your transactions as a seller and as a buyer
