  1. Contact the seller and ask very nicely to re-list the item.  If he says no, just bite the bullet and offer him a few bucks for the trouble.

  2. forget abt it..fooll

  3. To keep your good Ebay rating, pay for it.  Once you receive it in the mail offer to sell it on Ebay.  Generally most items are sold.  Maybe you could sell it at a profit which is pretty good for an item that you do not want.

  4. pay for it and either sell it over ebay or give it to someone. not paying can cause ebay to cancel your account, besides that's pretty crappy to do to the seller

  5. take den sell

  6. sell it over ebay

  7. Personally I would send an email to the seller apologizing for my mistake and ask if I could send them a small amount on papal so that they can re-list their item without it costing them money. Sellers have lost their ability to leave negative feedback so they cannot really retaliate for stuff like this but you would be dodging your obligations as a buyer if you didn't try to work something out with them.

  8. probably contact the seller and let him know but you will most likely get a negative feedback remark. Since the seller paid to list it and you wasted his time and chances of getting someone who really did want the item.

  9. Well this is tricky - I have had this happen but I didnt the item - it was a ipod touch 8gb and I thought it was a 16gb - so I wrote him after I saw it which was 3 hours b4 the sale ended - he was a jerk about it, so I wrote e-bay and they said not to worry - your deal is a bit different as far as I know you have to buy it - they might not do anything this time but they might delete your account - if so start a new one - o big deal -

The reason its bad is because the seller had to pay money to post thier add and you won and if you dont want it the seller is out a sale and has to re-list it, I would say write the seller and let them know

  10. From my experience with EBAY- generally the person will expect you to buy the item. Most thoughts are, don't bid if you don't have the money or really want the item.

If it's something reasonable, you can email the person Auctioning the item and explain why you are unable to buy it. Some (not all) would be understanding and let it slide this time. Don't make a habit of it though. You will eventually be banned from ebay for it. Make sure it's a darn good reason too. Also, most will "strike" you, voting that you are not a reliable buyer/bidder. Seeing as you agreed to the terms when creating an account with ebay saying you would follow through with all bids/purchases.

    Good luck to you though!

  11. You can retract your bid, but the seller will rate you negatively. You shouldn't bid on something unless you are serious about buying it.

  12. you can contact the seller and tell them that something came up and you can't pay for the item and to go ahead and repost it.

  13. sell it when you get it or return it if they allow. if you don't pay you get a bad rep and then noone wants to do buissness with you.

  14. You can do anything you want, I'm sure you won't get sued over a few $$.

But here's what I would do...

    1.  Contact the seller and see if he/she understand and offer him a positive feedback as long as he left me a neutral one FIRST.

    2.  If the first option doesn't work.  I would just not pay.  It would just result in a negative feedback.  (If you can live with this)

    3.  If your not as lazy as I am, you could just buy it and sell it back on ebay or craigslist.

  15. You live up to the legally binding commitment you made when you clicked the "Place My Bid" button, and you pay for the item anyway.

If you still don't want it once you get it, you can give it away or throw it away or sell it again on eBay yourself.

  16. It's already legally bound to you, so you just have to pay for it, receive it, and relist it if you really don't want it.
