  1. Well, not necessarily.  That was the initial intent of the stars rating thing, ie the seller gets a star everytime a buyer leaves them a positive feedback, and the buyer likewise gets a star when the seller leaves a positive feedback.  But these days many eBay sellers "blackmail" the buyer into giving them a star by not giving them positive feedback until the buyer gives the seller positive feedback first.


  2. Yes, the more stars they have means that they have good products and probably aren't lying to u bout wat they're selling.

  3. In a way yeah, it means they've done a lot of trading and have got a lot of good feedback. You should check their feedback rating for details on if they can be trusted or not, if they have a lot of negative stuff be cautious but generally people on ebay are trustworthy.

    If you click on their name you'll see their feedback, how many positive and how many negative and you can make your judgement from there.
