On facebook, how do i 'un'request a sent friend request?

i accidently added someone and i changed my mind so now i want to un send a request....please help!:(

go to their profile, one of the links (bottom left of page on my layout) is "cancel friend request"

on new facebook. go to the bottom left corner and click on 'Cancel Friend Request'

yeaaaaahhh u can. just go to their profile and at the top it has a little x and click it!

go to their profile, at the top it should say "awaiting friend request" or somethinb, click the little x next to it.. just worked for me! :)

Go to the person's page and at the top it says "delete friend request." It will then unrequest the person.  :)

you can do it but only on internet explorer. Go to your Friends list. Scroll down to the person you requested and it will say you have a friend request pending. Then click the "x" on the right hand column and it will cancel your friend request.

Yes, it is possible! Block this person then go into your privacy settings and unblock them. The friend request will be gone!

YES, IT'S POSSIBLE!  you have to go to your privacy settings and block the user, then unblock them.  The friend request will go away.  Trust me...I just figured this out about 2 minutes ago.
