On front screen of yahoo, the large search web box, how do you clear the history of that box?

If i think ure trying to do what i think u want to do u need to go to:

Tools > Browsing History > Delete > Delete your temp. internet files, cookies and history.

(NOTE - deleting cookies involves deleting your computers memory of passwords u have used in websites. It's no big deal tho, u just need to re-input your passwords when you visit the sites that require them. And no, it doesn't mean your computer will eva remember them again, it will next time u input them.)
