On golf television how do they track golf balls with the camera so well?

So, I was just watching the a golf game and Tiger Woods hit a ball high off into the distance, the camera then went to a shot of the soaring golf ball flying through the air.

I'm wondering how do they get these shots of the balls that are so smooth and with the ball centered on the screen when the ball is flying through the air at 200 mph in the sky.

Are golf balls somehow tracked by computers? Are the human cameramen so well trained that they are golf ball tracking specialists? Or is there some other way of tracking them on camera?

This is just one of those confusing questions I'd lose sleep over. Thanks!
