Question:

On-line Classes vs Traditional Classes

I'm going to school in the fall, and I wanted to take a class in a traditional setting. However, that class has already been filled, and my only option now is to take an on-line class since I work full time. I took an online class before, and I had drop it because there was just so much reading and no feedback. Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to succeed in an online class?

  1. I took my first online class this summer, and I felt the exact way you did. Yes, there is alot of reading and not much interaction with the teacher. I myself didnt like the fact that I wasnt given any direction.

Just make sure you read everything and check the website everyday. What class is it? I took college composition which was just reading and essay writing. I am deciding to stick to traditional classes for now, but I may resort to online if I need to. I prefer traditional but online is a great option as well.

Just read the directions very carefully, check the website every day, and if you have any questions about an assignment, make sure to ask the teacher a couple of days before the assignment is due so that you give her plenty of time to answer you.
