On loan Craig Bellamy wants to return to Manchester City next season – English Premier League news
Former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Craig-Bellamy-c9471 has expressed his desire to be at Manchester City from the start of the 2011-12 season.
Bellamy is currently on loan from Manchester City to a Championship side, Cardiff City.
The 31-year-old has been in form with Cardiff and the Bluebirds could even qualify for the 2011-12 English Premier League. Bellamy admitted that his relations with current City boss Roberto Mancini were not that great and hinted at the possibility of him
being rooted to bench, if he makes a return to Premier League.
The Welsh international confirmed that even if Cardiff make their way up to the Premier League, he will not be able to stay at the club, hinting at some financial problems that the club has.
He said, “Even if Cardiff are promoted, I feel it's very unlikely I'd stay, it is not an option to have another year on loan here - I don't want to be on loan anywhere next season.”
The striker insisted that he does not want to go anywhere else on loan and wants to continue playing for Manchester City. He also added that Cardiff is a good club but not strong enough to buy him permanently from City. Bellamy added that he wants to complete
his remaining one-year contract at City and therefore, would like to get more and more chances in the playing eleven.
The 31-year-old further said, “It is difficult because I do have another year at Man City. I could be there the whole year and not be involved. It would not be ideal for anyone if that happens. It certainly wouldn't be ideal for them. I will have to be at
Man City because I have a year left, but it will be an uncomfortable situation for everyone really, if Mancini is still in charge.”
Bellamy joined Manchester City in 2009 on a four-year deal from West Ham United. In his two years reign, the striker was not a regular part of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323’s plans and managed to score 13 goals from 40 appearances.
Currently Manchester City are fourth in the League table with 53 points while Cardiff City are also fourth in the Championship with 63 points.
