  1. bad ground


  2. the turn signal switch is bad

  3. Most likely culprit is a bad ground connection.

  4. it is a wiring problem... have you had a new stereo or anything installed recently?

  5. Check the light bulb(s) on whichever side you signaled. Replace it or them.

  6. It could be that you have a earth fault on one of your break lights

  7. check any trailer wiring harnesses may be bad
