On my 98 ford Contour GL 2.0 Zetec Engine P1381 Over advanced Timing what could the problem be?

had wires replace on the VCT Solenoid, and o2 sensors, cleared codes, and now P1381 appears. How do I fix the problem and is it Expensive? Thakn you

It could be your timing belt, or idler or tensioner. Have you replaced the timing belt? Most recommend replacement at about 60-80 miles, check your owners manual under service intervals. This is very important maintenance to avoid possible destruction of you engine.
