On my Citroen Synergie 2L HDI the engine management warning light keeps coming on - Any ideas please?

i take it you dont have a handbook,,,when the engine management light comes on it can be  fuel injection right through to the braking ABS servo system,,,it will,if you do nothing no doubt fail while are in the "middle of nowhere"when it comes on it does so for a reason which is recorded on a micro chip in the car,,,TAKE IT TO A DEALER who will plug in his computer and it will tell him and you exactly why its coming on,

ignore it and suffer the consequences at your own risk!

Could be any number of things, it will come on if you have not changed the fuel filter in ages or if you have dodgy diesel or water in the tank, I have mine come on now and again but thats because I run on cooking oil etc. I run the older 1.9 Synergie, I would try giving it a service and be careful where you buy your diesel.
