On my Sky + box i need to watch a recorded programme but it is protected by the password what is the default..

If you have never changed it it's the last 4 numbers on your viewing card.

It used to just be the last four digits of your viewing card but you can call them up and change it whenever you want.  Often if you're watching a film which is rated 15 on at 2pm or something you'll have to put it in but they don't charge you anything, just protecting the little ones.
