On my blog, how can I find banner advertisers who want to place ads on my site with relevant content?

I am not talking about AdSense, where I have little control. I mean, are there services where I can find advertisers who advertise products relevant to my content?

  1. You may want to join an advertising network -- not contextual advertising networks which automatically serves ads based on the content of your site.

Advertising networks are organizations that aggregate Web sites that offer advertising space, and sell banner ads (and other advertising options) across them. Traffic requirement is often a minimum of 5,000 monthly impressions, although many do not accept sites hosted by free page services.

These banner ad services provide a list of advertisers and give you the option to run them or not.
