On my computer how can i get rid of the recent search thing?

like when i go to google or youtube or anywehere else all the past searches have come up and i want to get rid of it its really annoying...

That is part of the autocomplete feature that can be turned off in options.

In IE go to internet options/ content/ autocomplete/ settings/ forms.

In Firefox go to options/ privacy/ history/ remember what I enter in forms and the search bar.

You can also delete the entries by double clicking on an empty box, drop down to the first item, and then press delete for each entry.
