On my iPod video why can't I DL any videos?

Why cant I put any DVD's on there?

Do I have to buy certain DVD's or can I only purchase from iTunes?

  1. iTunes won't let you rip any DVD's because of legal issues that Apple would face if they did.  The only way you can put movies on your iPod is if you buy or rent them off of iTunes.

    And should you want to delete any of your videos from your iPod, all you have to to is delete them in iTunes and then the next time you sync your iPod, the movies you deleted will be gone.


  2. ipod recognizes mp4 format, so you just need a converter that will go from DVD to mp4. the way i do it is use clone2go DVD to ipod converter, which my friend recommended to me. it also serves as a powerful video converter and youtube converter for ipod. works like a champ!

  7. Er, you should convert the DVD files to iPod format, iPod just accepts MPEG4 format, I think you can try wondershare dvd to ipod ripper to help you , my friend recommend, it works quite well.
