  1. err no, as blood dries it darkens..

  2. its happened to me before nd im 13 too

  3. ya i am around the same age and stiff and thats totally normal it just means that u have a lot of iron in ur blood and thats a good thing some people take iron because they don't have enough

  4. Hey, I'm 13 too, and that's how mine is. It's perfectly normal.

  5. its either old blood or just very very dark red. im quite sure its nothing to worry about x

  6. Cheryl could be right. Sometimes clots seem darker than the other. I would assume it's ok. Of course like alot would say, if it's too scary, see a doctor.

  7. No not at all bad!! I am 12 and I started in June, and just to let you know, for a while when you first start, the blood is black because it is old blood that has been in your system for a while, and now that you've started it has a chance to come out. Most of the time it's brown, but I've had black before.  warning, when you start using tampons, don't leave them in for more than 8 hours, I actually recommend leaving them in 4 hours tops. Reason being, some people forget and leave them in longer than 8 hours, and there is so much old blood that re-enters your blood stream, that you can get a deadly disease, (non-curable) that is called Toxic Shock Syndrome. It is very terrible! and that's why I keep track of when I put one in and for how long I have had it in.  Also, when you start using tampons, be sure to hold the finger grip, and when inserting into your v****a, make sure to keep going farther in until your fingers on the finger grip come in contact with your v****a. I recommend Playtex Gentle Glide, regulars. Every box comes with instructions, and so you can read those, and ask your mom for help. Good luck! and ps, you're a woman now!

  8. Hi honey, no this is not bad, this does happen like it happen at the end of your period, but it is nothing to worry about, it does happen to myself, and some of my girlfriends, so please don't worry there is nothing wrong with you, your period will start to get a brighter shade of red in the next day or so.

You have a good day and keep your chin up.  Don't Worry  :-)

  9. its just old blood not to worry normal

  10. I think its just heavy... If its just a bit, that's weird, but if its a lot of blood, that's just the amount of it that's turning it black.

If its a little bit, that may just be the pre-menstrual discharge that I get when I'm literally a day away from my period starting.

How long have you been getting periods? If they're still fairly new, you probably haven't evened out yet. And everybody gets irregular days.

  11. Your just passing blood clots, its normal.

  12. It's normal. Your blood isn't really BLACK just very dark and thick in globs OR old. I had the same thing

  13. The reason the blood appears black is because it is oxygenated which means that there is more oxygen in the blood then co2 or carbon dioxide or just dioxide. So the darker the color the more oxygen. also it is normal for the blood to be brown, pink, red,or a Dark deep red which appears black to you.But everything is fine And if you'ree on birth control than yeah it probably is old blood. But if you're not on birth control than you probably started your period. Birth control puts your period on a "schedule"

  14. No that`s not bad, the period is not exactly coming on the day that you are expecting, usually the cycle is 28 days. so don´t worry its normal. About sexually active? at your age its normal, your are more than normal, don´t think anything bad about it, don´t follow your friends they´ve got s*x at 10, that´s not normal. Keep the good image,  you will have your own time, not now... oo..

  15. uhm? wtf...probably

  16. Freakkk.

  17. it's not black

it just look black because there is probably a lot of it and it's just a really dark red

    it's nothing to worry about

  18. When I was your age, I was quite big girl, my period always had some crazy colors, brown, black or pink. Once I lost weight everything became normal. If this is persistent and you are in pain seek medical help..

  19. I really think thats the kinda blood, (the chunky kind occassionally) that your matabolism causes

  20. that happens from time to time when it comes out in big globs.  it also changes color toward the end of the period.  i wouldn't freak out about it.

  21. It's normal for it to be weird in the first few years of having you period. Mine is STILL sometimes blackish brown and I'm 22. I believe it means the blood is more coagulated or something.

  22. Honey you need help, this means your a vampire SEEK HELP NOW!!! HURRY!>>>>
