On my shipping label my address is mising i called usps and gave them the info my package was comin from ohio?

the person forgot my address on the label will usps add the info or will it be sent back to ohio

As a retired postal worker I can tell you that alot depends on the attitude of the employees in the post office in your town.The size of the town is also a consideration.If you live in a large city I'd say the chances are extremely remote that you'd get the package.I suggest that you go to your delivery post office and ask to speak with the postmaster.If he or she is not available,then ask to speak with the delivery supervisor.If they are a caring office,like the one i worked in,they will watch for the package to arrive and will get it to you.It's very important that you explain the situation to them in person if possible.Be sure to get the names of anyone that helps you and if they are successful in getting it to you,your best way of expressing appreciation is by writing a letter to the Postmaster General in Wash. D. C.Letters of appreciation always filter down to those that go out of their way and are kept in their personnel file.A pat on the back is a good feeling after helping someone.No money or gifts,just a heartfelt thank you.
