Question:

On my skimboard, the clear thing around the board seems to be coming off at some parts so some parts are dull?

i'm not too good with the terms lol but i have a victoria foamie and the clear covering that makes it seems shiny and stuff seems to be coming off so on some parts the board is rough and dull instead of shiny and smooth, should i fix this or can i just leave it as is? like will i have to fix it eventually?

  1. Most skim boards are covered with some kind of resin, polyester or epoxy.  You will want to  repair the affected area using which ever your board is coated with.  A surf shop could professionally repair it for you or you can buy some resin to repair it yourself.  Here is a site that discusses care and repair of your skim board.
