On page layout, how do I move modules sideways out of wide column?

When I add a module to my home page it goes to wide column. I then am unable to move any module sideways. I have clicked on edit button at top of narrow columns hoping new module would go there but it does not. How do I get to place modules exactly where I want them?

just drag and drop...it may help also if you use the edit botton. hope this may help you...

I am assuming that you are referring to the My Yahoo Classic page and not the My Yahoo Beta page.  

I seem to recall that there were some modules in My Yahoo Classic (mainly RSS feed modules) that require a wider column to display and there was no way to get them into the narrow columns.  

Normally, you just drag-n-drop the modules into whatever location you want them in.
