On pokemon leaf green how do i get moltres

you can find it in the first island.first you must surf and go up.you wiil see the first cave.inside there is a man who gives you rock smash-u need it-take as many repels u can -it's good 12 max repels.then u go up until u find moltres take around 30 ultra ball(i caught everything with poke balls).

Dont panic. Its quite easy. First, stock up on ultra balls (about 25) and then go to moltres. If you have a water pokemon, this would be great time to use it. Also you should use false swipes so you get its health all the way down to 1 hp. After that try to paralyze or make moltres go to sleep. Finally, throw ultra balls till you catch it. Hope it helps!
