On "Back at the Barnyard" why is Otis the COW considered a male, HE'S A COW! Are Hollywood people stupid?

Otis even has a cow as a girlfriend, what gives? Why refer to a cow as a guy? I was just wondering were the producers just dumb or think that viewers and kids are dumb? Either way just not smart. Seems kinda ridiculous.

i know!!!! in all movies bulls are considered cows. weird i know. he has udders too. maybe they didn't want little kids to see those other parts, but then again, they could just put nothing?! well maybe little kids know cows to have udders cow or bull.

Yes Hollywood is stupid. There is such thing as a male cow except it is called a bull or steer. they don't have udders this is where hollywood and nick went wrong.

that really bugged me too. but i think that because it is made for a younger age group, they realized that the toddlers are not too concerned about gender, just about the voices. but thats just my opinion.

either:

   a) the creators left that little easter egg in the movie so that adults taking their children would get a kick out of it.

or b) they really are stupid.

believe me, i've seen some obvious errors in some movies before, so i know it's possible.

*edit* for those of you saying he's a male cow....the male is referred to as a bull. cows are always female. plus, bulls don't have udders.
