On screen s*x just as detrimental as violence - for toddler viewing?

i need proof to support this thesis. links to other sites would be great. basically, i deal with kids and believe that before a certain age, seeing the act of s*x on tv is just as traumatic for them as it is seeing violence. they do not understand what is going on and it looks as if the adults are in pain/hurting each other. i KNOW i'm right on this, just need reference...
