No. The only way they can win a title is by pinfall or submission you cannot win a title by countout or DQ.So Shelton lost the the match but he didn't lose the U.S titlte

Nope, if the opponent wins via DQ he can't be that champion so the person who has the title retains. As right there, Jeff Hardy won by DQ but Shelton retains. =]
