On sony Vegas how do you import videos from phones?

Do you need to change the file type? and if so, what to?

You haven't said what format your video's in.  If it's MPEG-4 you should be OK, if it's 3GP or 3GPP you'll need to convert it to one of Vegas' supported formats - DV AVI would be my first choice.

You can do the conversion with Super.

I have a Sanyo PM8400 that takes pictures and video.  Cellphone video files are stored as .3GP or .3G2 files.  You will have to convert these files into some usable format.  Google 3GP conversion and you'll find all the help you need.

Some converters cost.  There are shareware converters too.
