  2. Not a lot you can do.... you could try to move your Wii to a place closer to your router, but besides that your signal strength is going to be able the same.

  3. Best way is to move your Wii closer to your wireless router.

Should this be improbable (and it probably is), I'd recommend first turning off any computers or devices connected by the router. This'll greatly boost your internet speed, thus reducing the lag probability.

However, even when I do all of these things, sometimes my Brawl will lag. I'm actually planning to get a faster internet connection (upgrade to T1) because there are two laptops plus the Wii all pulling from the same router.

I think it's just Brawl though, because whenever I play Mario Kart Wii, there is no lag whatsoever.

So try all of the above. If this still doesn't work, I'd recommend calling your internet provider and telling them the net is really slow. It might not work, but sometimes they'll give you a small boost in speed.

    Good Luck!

  4. If moving your Wii closer to your router doesn't help, try buying a LAN adapter and using a wired connection.  This has made a significant difference for most people.  Note that if you are playing online with anyone, there isn't much you can do because the game plays at the speed of the person with the slowest internet connection.

  5. Make sure your Wii is connected to your network.  If it is, and there's still not a good connection the Wii is too far away from the wireless router.  Also to stop slow connection, turn off spectator mode.
