  2. It is an area where congestion and delays are likley

  3. I always thought it meant an area where they were unable to get an accurate estimate because of things like frequent accidents, road construction, or frequent bad information relays.

  4. Its where there are long term roadworks or regular accidents that they class as being a usual place for long traffic jams.

    Best to avoid if possible.

  5. To be classed as a Blackspot there has been at least 5 Fatal accidents in the last 12 months.
