On the At&T Add a Line do you have to buy the phone fullprice or can you get a 2 year contract?

add a line you will get the 2year contract price.  you have to get a new 2 year just for that number even if its your account and your 2year ends in a week, adding a new number to your account will make that new number have a 2 year contract
