On the British Airways, what do they mean by "World Traveller" Class?

and can you compare it to economy and business class?

  1. It is their way of satying Economy Class - the cheapest seats going.

    I imagine they don't use the word economy, as it not good for their brand image, the word economy having connotations with cheapness


  2. Basically it's a bit better than economy but nowhere near as good as business.

    Extra legroom is about all. Some flights give you a free pre take off drink.

  3. On British Airways "World Traveller" is basically their word for economy. There is the least leg room, although I found it wasn't /too/ cramped. All of the chairs also have their own touchscreen TV in the back of the seat in front, which contains a large amount of TV shows, movies, CD collections etc, as well as a flight tracker to show you the flight plan and where you are at all times- therefore economy is pretty good.

    World Traveller Plus is economy but slightly better (not sure what the difference is tbh).

    Business class is called Club World, or Club Europe for short haul flights, which is pretty much the same except for bigger chairs and a bit more leg room.

    First class is just called 'First'.
