On the Food TV network, why does the Chef Guy wear a wrist band?

Is it just a fashion fad or what is the purpose of wearing a wrist band... just curious.

Probably for the same reason he always wears sunglasses on the back of his neck...part of his signature look I guess...tacky! lol

I watch his shows every day, and never noticed!  If it's a colored wristband, it's probably for some "cause" - different colors for different causes.  And, those would be flexible plastic, so not unsanitary......

I know many celebs do this,,, the color is important..

I believe yellow is for the HIV rescue funds ..(??)

The others I don't know and care less..

most are sexual junk..
