On the Legend of Zelda for the Wii, how do you kill off a poe spirit?

For some reason, after I've knocked a poe spirit into submission,

[you know hit it twice and they fall]

I can't rip out the spirit orb.

I tried pressing 'A' and 'B' but wolf Link just won't tear it out.

Any help?

Am I pressing the wrong button, am I missing a skill?

OK, in order to finish off a Poe Spirit, it requires several things. First, you have to be a wolf in order to see the ghost with your senses. When you have your senses activated, beat down the ghost to the ground. The easiest way is to use Midna's energy field attack to tackle the ghost down to the ground in one shot, but you can use any attack as long as you get it to the ground. Then when it's on the ground, make sure it's targeted, because you have about 3 seconds to kill it. To kill it, target the ghost and when "Finish" appears with the "A" button next to it, press "A". You can't finish the Poe off until "Finish" appears at the bottom of the screen. If you press "A" like everyone else says, you'll do a jump attack that will probably waste the opportunity to kill the Poe. Hope this helps, good luck.

Target it with Z and attack with A, do this twice and the ghost will fall to the ground, press A again to remove the soul.

Z target the poe, as a wolf, with your sense, walk up to it, press A. Make sure you have been asked by the jovani guy to get the poe souls.

after you meet jovani after the face off with lanayru and zant will embed a crystal into your head. who asks you to return part of his soul  ypu have to target the object (poe) and press A to pull the soul away

to meet jovani walk into castle town and talk to the  cat  named Lousie in Telmas bar the cat will lead you to the castles waterway and you'll be at the entrance to the waterway Jovani waits he wil ask you to collect 20 souls.

Once you knock the Poe spirit and it's lying on the ground, You have to  Z Target it and then it should say finish at the bottom Next to A, press A and wolf link should rip out it's soul. Remember you can only kill the poe with wolf link because you need wolf link's senses to see the ghost.
