On the London Underground network, why are some lines hotter than others?

I just noticed before that when I was on the Victoria line it was roasting. When I got to Skockwell and changed to the Northern Line (which is just the adjacent platform) that line was much cooler. The platform, the cars, everything.

  1. Depends on the guys in this train...

  2. i think it depends on the whether on day you are travelling and also the amount of people in the carriages at one time. But then again the Victoria line is always friggin hot!!!

The northern line goes through central London and probably has better maintence and management because of all the business people and foreign tourists who use it. Just a guess.

  3. Might be because the Northern Line is much deeper than the

    Victoria LIne.

Or it might be because the Victoria line was busier that day.

    My best guesses!
