On the Motorola Q, when you download music on the removable disc, can u use that music as your ringtone?

i don't feel like downloading music ringtones for a fee. so i was just wondering if you can use the music that u put on your removable disc as a ringtone? does anyone have this phone? if so, how would you go about doing that? thank you - A
