They say that the bus is made for helping with shipping luggage fast to the destination too but I have bags and bags of chocolates in my duffle bag and I want to keep it with me at all times..and I don't want them to charge me for two baggages..

  1. It better if you use train. From Narita Airport to Tokyo center it will take you around 10 USD (1hour 45 mins).

The follow link is usefull for you to check time and fare of trains in Japan. All you need is the name of the station nearby your hotel.

There are 2 station at Narita Airport. They are Narita International Airport 1 station and Narita International Airport 2 station.

  2. I've been to Japan five times, but I've never taken the limousine bus from Narita to Tokyo.

It is far quicker to take the NEX train than to take the limousine bus. There is also much more luggage space on the train than on the bus, and you will have a reserved seat as well.

If you have a JR Railpass, you can use it to ride this train as well as all JR subways in Tokyo.

  3. Judge it by common sense. Limousine bus take many foreign travelers who are with luggage to their final destination from air port.

Yes you may bring any duffle bag, shoulder bag, tote bag, handbag with you on board if it can be passed through the bus door.

  4. There should generally be no problem with that.  If the bus is packed totally full they might ask you to check your duffle bag though.

What the people who are telling you to take the NEX/Keisei aren't telling you about is the limited number of NEX/Keisei destinations.  The bus services offer door to door service to most major hotels and are much less stressful if you aren't on a super-tight schedule.

  5. It depends on the size of the duffel bag and how crowded the bus is.  They have overhead bins in the bus but they are small.  If there is room on the bus they will probably let you take it on and keep it on the seat next to you.  If not, tell the attendants loading the bags into the baggage compartment (under the passenger compartment) that you have fragile good in the bag and it will received special care.  There is no charge for two or more bags on the limosine bus.

There should be no problem with bringing the duffle on board the bus.  The real benefit to the bus over train is that the boarding station is right outside the terminal building and they drop you off at the bus terminal.  The train is many levels down and you have to handle your bags by yourself.

Have a great time in Japan!

  6. I don't see why not. Of course if it is 5 feet long everyone might glare at you in disapproval.

I have never taken the limousine bus, but I'd assume everyone has luggage. They'll either put it under the bus or there will be racks at the end of the aisles to stack lots of bags. If the bag is small enough you can also put it over your head.

If you get on and the driver seems to be telling you to put the bag somewhere else, just let him help you. He won't be trying to cheat you or take your bag or anything.
