On the back of my rosary there is a cross with a capital m in front of it with twelve stars around it and under the capital m there is a pair of king and queen hearts with a sword through one of them...has anyone seen that before?what does it mean?

the M and 12 stars refer to Mary.  I believe the heart thing refers to her heart, I forget the name, but it's pierced because of the pain she went through watching her Son die.

the twelve stars are the twelve stars Mary is crowned with in the book of Revelations
