On the back of stereos, What is the "Bus Audio" In/Out?

I bought myself a sony stereo. On the back of it there are Front audio, back audio, and Bus audio.

Is bus audio where I plug in my subwoofers?

  1. Bus audio is typically where component type peices attach.

    On some factory stereos, the cars come standard with amplifiers or stackers, which are controlled through the head deck.

    For instance, a CD Stacker would be plugged into a BUS Audio to allow it to be controlled from the head deck


  2. bus audio is  audio from the data buss device

    cd changer,xm radio it is only audio input and you need the sony device for it to work

  3. u need an amp for subs,if u dont have an amp to power em,u will blow the voice coils in it.
