  1. I agree with the first answer. I also think its because all the big fights he had.  He was always the underdog in his big fights like with trinidad and De la hoya.  He was the vilian that got into there head and made people hate him for his coments.  That's what made him the outsider and loner to a lot of people.....  But I was Always a fan!


  2. It means he locked himself in his room and cried the whole build up to the fight. He said he was never going to lose to a "white boy". But when he realized that he stuck his foot in his mouth and was going to be beat up, he just got really scared and hid. Yeah, they won't tell you that, they wanted to make him sound tough, but I always tell the truth.

  3. Means exactly that, hes a very private guy. When he was younger he used to run with a gang, when he got sent to prison he didnt socialize with the other inmates, preferring instead to stay in his cell and read and go the gym and train boxing.

    He was aloner in prison, and when he got out he stayed the same way to avoid being courted back into the thug life he was living before prison.

    Hes just that kind of guy, always focused and he said himself that he prefers his own company.
