My friend took me on the DMV courses and when he told me to change to the left lane to turn left, the left lane was so crowded that i could not even squeeze into. What do i do? or what happens?

  1. Put on your blinker, then wait until someone is nice enought to let you over.

  2. When you get older..you will realize that left turns require signaling well in advance.  & know where the left=arrow intersections are.. If all else fails..just remember..TWO Rights  Make a Left.  Oh what the Heck..just buy a TOM-TOM.

  3. If you can't get over to the left you just need to keep going straight until you can and then back track. You do not want to stop in traffic because you will cause more traffic build up behind you and possibly cause an accident. You may have to take a right and circle around the block to try again.

  4. You turn your left turn signal on, and you stop in your lane and wait for someone to let you in!  It may take a little bit of time since people can be jerks, so don't worry about people honking at you from behind.  If you notice the lane you need to get into is congested, you need to be trying to get in ahead of time.

If traffic is stopped in that left lane, I would just angle myself into that left lane to make them let me in.

  5. indicate and wait for someone to let you through

  6. You just have to start trying earlier then. You surely don't want to just dart in there during your test. Sometimes, you just can't get over.

  7. you have to put on your turn signal and slow down until someone lets you in... thats how you do it legally anyway...
