That was very offensive and shows he has bought into the trite categorizing of Americans into little boxes. Jesus was the ultimate left wing liberal, and any niceness is liberal.

  1. I do find that funny that evangelical liberals are so rare.  I have a bumper sticker that says "Jesus Was A Bleeding Heart Liberal" which I always felt described the situation pretty accurately.  Billy Graham was a registered democrat.
