On the screen to open my computer, there is a hotmail unopened mail message, how do i get rid of it?

I have a Toshiba laptop. Under the "sign on" box, this message keeps appearing. I've cleared temp internet files, cookies, and the mailbox and I still have it there. I have windows XP.
