On the show PINKS what does it mean to "Peddle"?

I've been hooked on the show PINKS recently and I noticed sometimes when drivers reach the end of the track the say the driver "peddled" a little bit. So I was wondering if anybody knew what this meant ?

that means they are working the gas pedal to just barley win  it creates an advantage to the one doing it

It is an advantage to barely win the race. When someone is accused of pedaling - they are accused of taking their foot off the accelerator 'pedal' in an effort to barely win, hopefully making the negotiation easier in the next round. Some people say pedaling, some use the term 'Lift' as in, "as soon as he passed me at the 1000' mark, he lifted."  Hope that helps you understand.
